We've seen the Dodge Challenger at various auto shows, undercover in past years, and now, we get a glimpse of the official Dodge promotional video for the new Mopar muscle car.  This is one of the coolest cameos Dodge has unleashed to the public, so sit back, grab your seat, and enjoy--it's one fantastic ride!

The B5 Blue hue on Dodge Challenger #43 is sure to capture almost any eye passing by.  This blue Mopar monster pays strong tribute to Richard Petty's tenured stock car career, which was packed with success.  This eBay auction is going to provide some lucky winning bidder with the keys to the car along with two VIP passes to the May 2008 Dodge Challenger 500 NASCAR event, to be held at the Darlington Raceway.

Just days ago, the Chicago Auto Show held several exciting automotive debuts that had everyone at their edge of their seats.  The Dodge Challenger took center stage for Dodge and captured the attention of so many fans.  While the original Mopar orange colored Challenger was on the turntable for viewing, we also get to see a couple of other hues that will be offered on the muscle car.  The black and silver versions of the Dodge Challenger look pretty slick--perhaps these will outsell the former when the ordering dust has settled.  Two more interior shots surface up for our viewing pleasure, with SRT decorations galore.  Enjoy the image gallery, as we were pretty excited to see these pictures show up and we're sure there will be many more to come.

After giving you some of the hottest shots of the Dodge Challenger exterior, we’ve now gotten our hands on a sweet shot (click for hi res) of the Challenger R/T interior.  It seems to follow general trends that Dodge has exhibited, and shares similarities with the Barracuda concept’s interior.  All the standard controls and instrument clusters are in the panels, adorned with silver plastic trim.  What caught our eye the quickest was the leather and chrome wrapped shifter.  While the Dodge Challenger is soon to hit the streets, we have to wait for the official unveiling in about two weeks at the Chicago Auto Show.  Stay tuned to Planet Challenger for more exciting news about this modern Mopar muscle.

Just when the Dodge Challenger gets a nice boost of wind in its sails, Chrysler releases news that the powerful HEMI powerplant propelling the car has quite the limited lifespan.  Despite advanced technologies of variable displacement and multiple plugs per cylinder, the behemoth engines won't be able to keep up in the race--the CAFE race, that is.  Hands down, the Dodge Challenger's introduction has caught the eye of many, but will the magic continue in future models when the Mopar monster is fitted with lesser displacement engines?
